Caribara Production uploaded the first sneak peek of the reboot of 'Astro Boy' on Saturday, March 21. This is the same teaser trailer that made debut at the convention MAGIC in Monaco.

Japan's Tezuka Productions, France's Caribara Animation, and Monaco's Shibuya Productions, are collaborating to produce a brand new story. Since Tezuka Productions owns the intellectual property to the franchise, they have the right to recreate the animated show and already planned to have 26 episodes.

According to the Anime News Network, Tezuka Productions and YTV are also in the process of developing 'Little Astro Boy' series as an "edutainment" that will target children from three to five years of age.

Astro Boy was created by Osamu Tezuka and originally titled 'Mighty Atom' as manga in the 1950s. The character found new life in early 60s as an animated television show.
